Joyeux Noël - Merry Christmas on the 24th and 25th of december 1914.

Yesterday morning just after I woke up I turned the TV and whilst watching it said about a film that would appear later on in the day about the Christmas truce in 1914. Now when I heard I was a litle sceptic, I thought it might be a bit of a boring film out of touch with its audience glorifying the first wirld war and so I was pleasently surprised when it came on for it was the opposite of what I imagined. It was a beuatiful, thought-proviking mesmorisng film and I would really recommend it to anybody. I'm going to take a quote from a comment on youtube about the film because it is basically what I want so say but can;t find the words for.

I don't think there'll ever be another movie so touching, so simple...this movie is a league of it's own, and there's a lesson to be learned from it.

If you have not seen this film I recommend it to you.
